Lightweight, wind resistant, durable, and they dry fast. I got mediums and usually wear Mens 34+/- pants, and they were about as true to size as possible, in my opinion. Fit was nearly exact. Shipped from an ExOfficio warehouse in Denver in a timely manner. I did, however, ever-so-carefully trim out the integrated brief netting, because I read fantastic reviews on the ExOfficio Men’s Give-N-Go Boxer Brief, and had them as well.

Helps keep you cool on hikes during the hot days. I use them for mountain and desert hikes and they are light and durable. Having the convertible feature allows you to have a pair of shorts during the heat of the day and the “legs” are light and store easily in your pack.

These pants are very comfortable in hot weather. I bought them to wear under my motorcycle riding gear, but I ended up wearing them whenever it was hot out. They let some air pass through, and sweat doesn’t build up.
They do dry quickly. I had to change a flat tire in the middle of a torrential rainstorm; by the time I got home half an hour later, the pants were completely dry – everything else I was wearing was still soaking wet.
The pockets are good. There’s a small extra pocket near the top inside of the right side pocket. It’s almost the right size for a cellphone. But don’t use it for that, the phone pops out and falls on the ground. I just put the phone in the lower side-leg pocket now.
The small surprise? The pants come with built-in mesh “panties”. I guess it’s so you can skip wearing underwear, without quite “going commando”. The “panties” are sewn in and can’t be removed without the use of scissors. I’m still considering cutting them out. Not bragging. . . but they are a little too snug on my junk.
